The first two rounds of the Legends stage will begin tomorrow at the BLAST.tv Major Paris. NAVI will meet with GamerLegion, who, with great effort, went through the meat grinder in Challengers. In an exclusive comment for Cover.gg, Fedor KvaN Zakharov explained his favorite choice and predicted the match’s result.
Teams’ shape
Over the past 15 matches, only some teams have been able to compete with NAVI. Of the three defeats, two were against the tournament champions in which this or that match took place: FaZe and Heroic. With GamerLegion, the situation is radically different. First, they went on a losing streak of five matches, finding themselves one step away from elimination from the Major, but they were able to rally against strong enough MOUZ, OG, and FORZE, surpassing them in bo3. Does GamerLegion have a chance in bo1 against NAVI? Of course, but not very big.
Maps
It is difficult to predict what maps NAVI prepared for the major to surprise other tier-1 teams potentially, but based on the statistics of previous tournaments, Ancient will remain on bo1 against GamerLegion. Such an outcome of the veto map will definitely favor "Born to Win" because recently, only Heroic could confidently beat the Ukrainian club on this map.

NAVI did not play for 3 weeks, so it is difficult to assess their playing condition right now. Globally, their game form has only improved in recent months, so you can believe in their victory against GL.
Plus, they have the option to watch the opponent's fresh demos and prepare specifically for 2-3 cards.
