NAF is the only still active player from the first match between Cloud9 and Liquid

The match between Liquid and Cloud9 at ESL Pro League Season 18 was the 72nd meeting between the teams in history. The first time it happened in 2015 at CEVO Season 6: Professional Division - Round Robin. Then the victory with a score of 16:8 was won by Cloud9 team.

The match featured current Liquid player Keith "NAF" Markovic. Not only is he the only one still playing on the same team, the Canadian is the only player from that match still active on the professional scene. The rest have either finished their CS:GO appearances or have moved on to coaching roles.

Eric "adreN" Hoag, who was his teammate at the time, served as Liquid's coach for a long time. Another then Liquid player, Damian "daps" Steele, is now in that position. The only one active in CS:GO among Cloud9's roster remains Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen, who now coaches Team Nouns.

The rest of the players have either ended their careers or moved on to another discipline, like Nick "nitr0" Cannella did. The former Liquid captain played in VALORANT, then briefly returned to CS:GO, but now rumors are linking him to Team M80 in VALORANT.
