The first matches of the upcoming May BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 have been announced. The pairs were formed according to the Buchholz points based on the results of the regional RMR events, which is why, for example, Monte's first opponent will be FaZe.
Pairs in the first round of the Challengers stage:

- PaiN - Fluxo
- G2 - The MongolZ
- GamerLegion - Complexity
- FORZE - Grayhound
- Apeks - Liquid
- NIP - MOUZ
- OG - ENCE
The Challengers stage will follow the same Swiss system as the European RMR, which means that matches for elimination and entry into the "Legends" stage will be in a bo3 format, while all others will be in a bo1 format. 8 out of 16 teams will advance to the Legends stage, and so far, NAVI, 9INE, FURIA, fnatic, Heroic, Into The Breach, Vitality, and Bad News Eagles have qualified for this stage.

The first matches of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 will begin on May 8th, and the tournament will run until the 21st with a prize pool of $1.25 million. The main stage of the event will be held at the Accor Arena.
