Apeks player Justinas jL Lekavicius has agreed to a transfer to Natus Vincere. The information was shared by BLIX portal with reference to its own sources.
According to the resource, the Lithuanian eSports player was in great demand this offseason, but eventually chose the Ukrainian club. The article does not specify what other organizations were interested in jL.
Why is NAVI interested in jL?
By signing jL, NAVI will gain the official status of an international team. However, the players will be able to continue to communicate in Russian within the team, as Lekavicius is fully fluent in it. The transition of jL looks very logical amid rumors of the kick of Andriy npl Kukharsky, as he will be able to take the same roles and positions that npl has been playing lately. Thus, there will be no need to completely rebuild the team's game tactics. You can read more about the NAVI roster candidates in the article.
When does NAVI play?
The next tournament for NAVI will be BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023, which will take place after the summer break on the competitive scene. The championship will take place from July 13 to 27 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The bands will compete for a prize pool of $177.5K and six quotas to BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023.
