M80, RED Canids, ATOX and FlyQuest have secured spots at ESL Pro League Season 20

M80RED CanidsATOXFlyQuest and Lynn Vision have secured slots in ESL Pro League Season 20 by taking the top spots on the ESL Challenger Leagues in their respective regions.

M80 earned their spot after defeating Wildcard in a two-card series. M80 posted a 22-6 record in the group stage, and in the playoffs, they beat Nouns and Wildcard and cemented their title as one of the top teams in the region.

The other North American regional spot in the ESL Pro League S20 will go to one of Wildcard or Nouns.

 
 

In South America, RED Canids Marcelo “coldzera” David, who clinched one of the two available spots with a slot at ESL Pro League S20 by defeating Imperial in the top grid final. The Brazilians had previously defeated 9z, which allowed them to advance to the match against Imperial.

Imperial are not out of contention yet, as they will face 9z for the remaining spot.

 
 

In turn, ATOX advanced to the Asian grand finals by defeating Lynn Vision. The Mongolian team had to contend with -72c and GR before defeating the Chinese team in a tight three-card battle.

The second slot in the Asian EPL goes to Lynn Vision, who after losing in the top set to ATOX, fell to TYLOO winning them advanced to the grand finals.

 
 

FlyQuest lost nine rounds in the match, four of which came to Anubis early in the match losing a pistol against Mindfreak, and throughout the match losing only 2 rounds taking the other 13.

FlyQuest will now have a chance for revenge against Rooster, as the teams will meet in the grand finals on Sunday.

 
 

ESL Pro League Season 20 will start on September 3 and run until September 22 in Malta, where the teams will fight for a prize pool of $750,000.
