The experiments with secondary rosters continue.
Former Complexity sniper Paytyn junior Johnson has found a new home - EG Black, one of the secondary rosters of the American club.
Junior had been inactive in Complexity for about six months, being benched in July of last year.
Why not to the main team?
If we don't try to understand EG management's logic and their vision of creating a competitive roster, we can look at the statistics. Comparing them tells us that Johnson probably won't be the savior for the EG main team. The performance of the current sniper of the main team, Jerric wiz Jiang, shows that the players are at roughly the same level, but he is slightly more active and more likely to get the first kills. Other than that, there isn't much difference.
It can be assumed that the promotion to the main roster will only happen if the American player shows excellent results in EG Black.
The updated EG Black will demonstrate their skills in action in the ESL Challenger League Season 44: North America on February 22 in a match against Mythic.
