The North American closed qualification at RMR has ended, and seven teams have secured their spots at the event.

The most surprising fact that requires discussion is that one of the richest American organizations will not be represented at RMR because Evil Geniuses were eliminated from the qualification.
EG's biggest fail
Evil Geniuses' problems started from the very first match. In it, they met with yur - a mix of players from North America who gathered together only for the sake of qualification. As a result, EG lost to this team in overtime.
Surprisingly, yur ended up going to RMR with a 3-1 record. However, this does not justify EG at all but rather shows the generally low level of North America in CS:GO.
After that, the American club suffered a crushing loss to MIBR, due to which, after the third victory, EG fell into the decider for seventh place, where their opponents were TeamOne. Evil Geniuses were obvious favorites and had to win the match because, in case of defeat, the team didn't even get to RMR.
However, the result turned out to be sad for one of America's top organizations. The match ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of TeamOne. As a result, evil Geniuses took 8th place in the qualification, which does not give a slot on RMR.
The complete failure of the EG management with three CS:GO teams, from which it was impossible to assemble a single good tier-1 roster, resulted in huge reputational and financial losses. The team not only didn't qualify for the Major, but it also didn't even qualify for the RMR, which is a qualification for the Major.
The only good news is that TeamOne will receive a bonus from Aleksandar Kassad Trifunovych, who promised the team that knocks EG out of the qualifiers an additional $1,000 reward.
Qualification Leaders
Complexity and paiN are the most interesting among the teams that passed on RMR. After a fairly successful IEM Katowice 2023, Complexity continues to perform excellently. The team lost only one map to the MIBR team and went to RMR with a score of 3-0. Complexity has every chance for a Major.

When will the American RMR be held?
The American RMR will be held from April 5 to 9 in the Mexican city of Monterrey. North-American and South-American teams will participate in it, 5 of which will receive places at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
