Four teams guaranteed themselves a place in the playoffs ahead of schedule, while the other four teams have already said goodbye to Australia. But the most interesting part is in the matches themselves: comebacks, aces, clutches, tears, memes, and explosive reactions from the community.

MOUZ vs GamerLegion - fast annihilation and technical superiority

MOUZ left GamerLegion no chance, defeating them 2:0. Against the backdrop of a difficult match with BIG in the first round, the “mice” looked composed and cool. The match ended without any problems, with Jimpphat playing a key role, finishing off Inferno with a spectacular 1v3 clutch. One of the highlights was REZ's knife in Jimpphat's back, which became the reason for dozens of jokes on social media.

The MongolZ vs FaZe - brilliant deception and ACE from mzinho

The team from Mongolia continues to amaze. The MongolZ beat FaZe 2:0, demonstrating creativity and coolness. One of the moments that blew up social media was the “bomb cheat”: MongolZ deliberately dropped it in front of FaZe, forcing the opponent to lose position. And mzinho made a full-fledged ACE on the first map, which literally destroyed FaZe in a clutch situation.

Vitality vs Liquid - flameZ burned the opponent

Vitality showed dominance against Liquid, winning 2:0. Especially memorable was the 1v3 clutch from flameZ, which left the opponents in a stupor. His moment led the French team to the playoffs and became the main highlight of the second map.

mezii also showed his class - his 1v3 clutch on the second map completed the funeral of Liquid's hopes.

Falcons vs NAVI - a crazy comeback and NiKo against the smoke

The main drama of the day was the Falcons vs. NAVI match. The Ukrainian team led 11:3 on the second map, but allowed the opponent to win back. At the decisive moments, NiKo and m0NESY took the stage. NiKo scored an ACE at the start of the third map, later won a 1v2 clutch, and m0NESY responded with a triple kill in the defense of the A-side. At the most important moment, he won 1v2 again, effectively securing Falcons' place in the playoffs.

After the game, social media exploded. Banks wrote: “That Mirage throw hurtssss,” and the scene with Aleksib emotionally holding his head after the comeback went viral.

Also, one of the funniest moments of the day: after Aleksib killed NiKo with a smoke, m0NESY said to his teammate: “Bro you died to the smoke, it's funny,” and NiKo replied: “I tried to block the smoke at 1 HP, I'm so stupid”. This dialog has already become a viral one.

VP vs FlyQuest - no chance for the Russians

FlyQuest managed to impose a fight on VP. The Australians won 2-0, and regali shined in this game. The match was unpredictable, but one moment became a real explosion: social networks joke about VP's attack on Dust2, where they did not take a single round, and were one of the first to leave the tournament and have already fired their coach.

paiN vs. Complexity - hard and fast
