BLAST has announced the list of talents who will cover the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 — the first CS2 Major in the United States. Among familiar faces is the legendary player dupreeh, who will return to a Major for the first time since 2023, but this time as an analyst rather than a participant.
Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, a five-time Major champion and one of the most decorated players in the history of Counter-Strike, will join the analyst team for this Major. This is the first Major where the Dane will work as a talent — and possibly not the last.
However, he has not officially announced his retirement from professional play. In 2025, dupreeh has already appeared several times on BLAST broadcasts as an analyst — including at the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025: Closed Qualifier and BLAST Rivals Spring 2025. Now he will take to the main stage — at a Major-level tournament.
Throughout his career, dupreeh hasn't played for a large number of teams. He is best known for his performances with Astralis, Vitality, and TSM, and at different times represented Dignitas and CPH Wolves.
dupreeh participated in 19 Majors and became a champion five times — a record he shares with former Astralis teammates:
making him the most successful player in Counter-Strike history in terms of total tournament earnings. Now he will try his hand in a new role — as an analyst at a Major.
