HEROIC have announced the signing of former OG AWPer Abdul "degster" Gasanov, who was sent to the June 2023 reserve slot after playing his last match on May 10 at BLAST.tv Paris Major.
degster takes the position of Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi, who was dropped from the team after a period of stagnation after finishing in the top eight at IEM Katowice and qualifying for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 early in the team's existence.
Degster is a player with an insanely high skill ceiling, and that makes bringing him in very interesting.
He has a versatile playstyle and will bring a lot of initiative to the team with his ideas, as well as just a powerful frag. He is also very passionate about the game and I believe this will be evident in his high energy level on and off the serversaid coach Eetu "sAw" Saha on the signing of the contract

degster, a Major semifinalist with Spirit at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, will play his first official CS2 match at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, where HEROIC will kick off against MIBR on May 15.
