The reason for GamerLegion's refusal is unknown
Officially, GamerLegion did not explain the reason for their decision, but there are suspicions that it is related to the team's participation in the ESL Pro League Season 21. Today, GL is playing a match against G2, and the CCT playoffs start on Thursday, which could have created a conflict in the schedule. However, this is only an assumption, as the organizers and the team have not provided official confirmation of this version.
Details of the CCT Series 20 tournament
CCT Season 2 European Series #20 is a B-Tier online tournament with a $50 000 prize pool. The tournament started on March 3, 2025 and will last until March 16. The top eight teams advance to the playoffs, where they compete in the Single Elimination grid in BO3 format.
The prize pool is distributed as follows:
