The official Twitter of CS2 updates their header — fans are expecting a new map in the game

The official Twitter of Counter-Strike has changed its profile header. Now a dragon is depicted on the banner. Officially, Valve representatives have not commented on why this update was made.

CS fans on various social media are sharing with each other assumptions and hints about upcoming events related to the new banner. Most believe that CS2 is awaiting another update, which will introduce an updated Overpass map. This is all because there is a playground on a similar map in CS:GO where a dragon is depicted, albeit in a different style and less bright.

The recent actions of the Valve account also hint at the addition of the Overpass map to CS2: studio employees liked a publication where they proposed to redraw the dragon and demonstrated possible options. Some CS players believe that the new map in the closed beta of CS2 could also be Cobblestone - it had a decorative carpet with a dragon, which served as inspiration for the AWP Dragon Lore skin.
