Groupings and first matches at Elisa Masters Espoo 2024

The organizers of the Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 tournament have announced the groups and schedule of matches, where the Ukrainian team B8 will play in Quartet A together with Swedish veterans NIP, Mongolian team The Mongolz and Finnish team JANO. The tournament will take place from October 16 to 20, and Ukrainian fans will have something to watch, as B8 will meet NIP in the first match.

Tournament format and group lineup

Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 will be held in a group stage format with two groups of four teams each. All group stage matches will be held in a double-elimination system, and the two best teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. The playoffs will be held in a single-elimination format, where each defeat will cost the teams a place in the tournament. The grand final will be played in the Bo5 format.

Schedule of the first matches:

The first games will start on October 16. At 13:00, The MongolZ will compete against JANO, and at 14:00 NIP will meet B8 in an important match for both teams. The next day, on October 17, HEROIC will play against Rebels, and 9z will face ENCE.

Cash prize pool

The prize pool of the tournament will amount to $200,000, with the winner receiving the main prize of $100,000 and the finalists receiving $40,000. In addition, the participants who take 3-4 places will receive $15,000, and the teams that leave the tournament at the group stage will earn $5,000 each.

Key intrigue: r1nkle vs. B8

One of the biggest intrigues of Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 will be the match between B8 and the former player of this team r1nkle, who now represents NIP. In the first match, r1nkle will play against his former team in the group stage.
