G2 left no chance for Spirit in the final of the BLAST Premier World Final in Singapore, concluding the series with a score of 3-0. Snax and his team demonstrated complete dominance, outperforming their opponents at every stage.
Dominant Performance on Mirage and Anubis
From the first map, Mirage, it was clear that G2 were determined. Despite a decent start from Spirit, who led 7-5 at the break, the game changed dramatically after the side switch. Inspired by the excellent play of m0NESY and NiKo, G2 won all eight remaining rounds, putting their opponents in a difficult position.
The second challenge for Spirit awaited them on Anubis, their own map pick. But history repeated itself: G2 quickly adapted and, after the break, the situation once again turned against Spirit. All six rounds went into G2's pocket, finishing the map with an impressive score of 13-5. At this stage, G2 had three opportunities to close the series in their favor.
Dust2 became the final challenge, but even here the Spirit team could not turn the tide. G2 took a confident lead with an 8-4 advantage at the break, where huNter- particularly stood out. The T-side again proved problematic for Spirit, and G2 unhesitatingly brought the match to a victorious end.
Already the Third Victory of the Season
This victory was the third for G2 in 2024. Earlier, they claimed titles at IEM Dallas and the BLAST Premier Fall Final in Copenhagen. G2 demonstrated a serious level of gameplay, placing them among the strongest teams of the current season.
