The Brazilian team FURIA is once again on the threshold of the big IEM Rio 2024 tournament, and their expectations for this year are higher than ever. One of the team's leaders, Kaike “KSCERATO” Serato, believes that FURIA should strive for the highest achievements, namely, winning the tournament.
"Our minimum goal is to win IEM Rio. We are preparing, training, and confident in our abilities. We can't set low goals, we should always strive for the maximum - the trophy," KSCERATO said in an interview with Dust2 Brasil.
FalleN: “We dream about the title and the support of the fans”
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, captain of FURIA, also shares KSCERATO's ambitions, but for him, reaching the playoffs, where the team will be able to play in front of their home fans at the Farmasi Arena, will be a great achievement.
"We dream of a title and look forward to playing in front of our crowd. It will be incredible,” FalleN shared his expectations.
Is this the strongest FURIA lineup before IEM Rio?
After a series of changes in the team and coaching staff, FURIA has shown gradual growth at every tournament. But is this the best moment for the team before IEM Rio? KSCERATO answers that playing at home is always a special moment, regardless of the form.
"It's always a great pleasure to be here in Rio. We are in great shape, but playing at home is something completely different," he said.
Brazilian CS on the international stage
FURIA is not the only team from Brazil that has shown good results before IEM Rio. FalleN agrees that Brazilian CS is going through a good period, but emphasizes that the country has not yet reached the level where it regularly reaches the finals and wins major tournaments.
"I hope that IEM Rio will be an important step not only for us, FURIA, but also for other Brazilian teams. It will help us all take another step forward to the coveted title," FalleN summarized.
FURIA is preparing to fight for the trophy at home
The IEM Rio 2024 promises to be a great moment for the Brazilian teams, and FURIA is ready to do everything possible to bring the trophy home. Fans expect an unforgettable show from their heroes, and the players themselves dream of playing in the playoffs to the applause of local fans.
