Information that FURIA was going to restructure its academy was released last week by Dust2 Brasil. On Friday, however, the organization officially confirmed to BlueSky: players who were on the active roster of the academy have become free agents. Among them are Gustavo “GYZER” Ribeiro, João “Jotag3” Prado, Leonardo “mello” Melo, Luiz “souz4h” de Souza and Max “max” Borges. Also free of contract is reserve player Bruno “bruninho” Rodrigues.

The only one who will remain with FURIA is coach Leonardo “msr” Caixeta, who will be involved in the new phase of the academy's development.

One of the players has already found a new team. mello has joined Game Hunters, a new organization that is actively investing in the development of the Counter-Strike scene. Players such as Abrãão “abr” Campagnac and Matheus “prt” Scuvero are also listed as part of this team.
