Four matches at the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 determined the teams that reached a 2-0 record in the group stage, as well as those that landed in a difficult situation with 0-2. FaZe and paiN continue their confident path and remain one step away from the playoffs, while Astralis and MIBR avoided elimination at 0-2 by securing crucial victories.

FaZe vs. Eternal Fire

FaZe started Dust II with a strong attack, finishing the first half with a score of 10-2. After the switch, they quickly closed the map with a 13-4 victory. On Anubis, chosen by Eternal Fire, the Turkish team dominated at the start (6-1), but FaZe leveled the game by the break (5-7). Following the sides' switch, Eternal Fire won the first three rounds and maintained their lead until the end (13-10). On the decisive Inferno, FaZe led 5-2, but by the break the score was 7-5. Eternal Fire won five rounds in a row on attack, but FaZe regrouped and won the last five rounds, closing the map 13-10 and the match 2-1.

paiN vs. Falcons

Falcons led the first half of Mirage as CT with a score of 7-5, but after switching sides, paiN won eight rounds in a row, conceding only one, and took the map 13-8. Dust II developed similarly: Falcons were ahead 7-5 again, then won five consecutive rounds, but paiN managed to come back, taking seven rounds in a row. In overtime, Falcons proved stronger (16-12). On Nuke, paiN dominated on offense (8-4), Falcons nearly tied the score (10-11), but paiN won two key rounds and closed the map 13-11, and with it, the match 2-1.

Astralis vs. SAW

The first half of Nuke was evenly matched (6-6). After switching sides, Astralis won five consecutive rounds on offense, but SAW tried to push the game to overtime. Astralis maintained their advantage and closed the map 13-11. On Inferno, SAW took the first two rounds, but then Astralis won seven in a row, finishing the half 8-4. After the switch, they quickly secured the match victory (13-6).

MIBR vs. Imperial fe

Imperial fe started Mirage confidently, winning two rounds, but MIBR immediately responded with a series of seven winning rounds and closed the half 9-3. In the second half, MIBR left no chances for their opponent (13-3). On Ancient, Imperial fe again started 3-0, but MIBR quickly equalized and then took five consecutive rounds. After switching sides, they completed the game without significant issues 13-4, and the match 2-0.

PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 will be held from February 14 to 23 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Sixteen teams will participate in the tournament with a prize pool of $1,250,000. You can follow the schedule and results of the event here.
