Esports platform FACEIT has released an update summarizing the interim results of Counter-Strike 2. It includes the results of the fight against cheaters, the success of the new Challenger Rank system, and the activity of professional players on FACEIT.

Fighting cheaters

The level of cheating on FACEIT has dropped to a historic minimum thanks to a strict approach to checking suspicious accounts and mandatory measures to combat cheating. Overall, there was a 50.6% decrease, which means that the percentage of matches affected by cheating is now 0.4% of matches.

Challenger Rank

Users are actively participating in the new Challenger Rank system. Currently, there are a lot of well-known players in the top 10 in Europe, including: donkxicozsmooya, and CeRq. In South America, hardzao is on the first place, and in North America, cypress is on the first place.

Updates

FACEIT has also introduced a number of updates for MM users, the most interesting of which is:

  • Connection time has been slightly increased to 3 minutes from 2 minutes 30 seconds
  • Server location selection now offers additional context, allowing players to choose from a minimum of 4 servers
  • Users aged 13-17 can now verify their account

The platform also promised many updates in the coming weeks.
