ESL has announced the groups for the sixth season of the ESL Impact League in the European division. The tournament will take place from August 28 to October 20, 2024 and will bring together 12 of the strongest women's teams from across the continent.
Groups and tournament format
The teams were divided into two groups, with six teams in each:
- Group A: Nigma Galaxy, BIG EQUIPA, HSG, Entropiq Queens, Angels, Astralis W.
- Group B: Natus Vincere Javelins, Ninjas in Pyjamas Female, H2O Esports Club, MVP Nova, G2 Oya, 00Nation W.
Each team will play Round Robin matches (each against each other) in their group. At the end of the group stage, the top five teams will advance to the LAN final to be held in Stockholm. There, they will compete for a prize pool of $123,000.
Prize pool and qualifications
The total prize pool of the European division is $9,000 USD. The top five teams will not only receive prize money, but also qualify for the LAN final. The prize distribution is as follows:
- 1-2 place: Qualification for the LAN final and Season 7
- 3-4th place: Qualification for the LAN final and Season 7
- 5th place: Qualification for Season 7
- 6th place and below: Participation in Season 7
Terms of participation
Only women's teams take part in the competition. The tournament is held online, which allows teams from all over Europe to participate without leaving their home country.
ESL Impact League Season 6 promises to be an important event in women's esports, and the final in Stockholm will determine who can claim the title of the best women's team in Europe.
