ESC signed a new CS2 roster

German cybersports organization ESC has officially announced the signing of the ex-GhoulsW roster. The move comes after they decided to part ways with their Ukrainian roster, which included famous player bondik, in March.

AMANEK leads the new squad

Heading up the new ESC lineup is François “AMANEK” Delaunay, a French player with a wealth of experience on the competitive scene, best known for his play for G2. Since leaving G2 in 2022, AMANEK has been relatively inactive, playing only 14 maps in 2024. His last appearance was at the Regional Clash Arena Europe tournament, where he did not play well.

Details of the new roster

In addition to AMANEK, the lineup includes:

The team does not have a coach yet, but maybe he will appear later. For now, the players have already started their journey together with a two-week bootcamp in Germany, trying to build synergy and work on strategies.

Community Reaction

For many, this was a happy occasion, as a legendary organization without a roster was a bad thing. Many wish the team luck and believe in its future. The players themselves are excited to meet each other in person and are already working together in Germany.

Team results and future games

The last tournament played was IEM Rio 2024: European Open Qualifier 1 and 2, where the team performed poorly and left the qualifiers in 17-32 and 33-64 place respectively.

The team is now competing at ESEA Season 50: Advanced Division - Europe, where they are 3-5 in win-loss ratio. If the team makes the playoffs and takes first place, they have a chance to qualify for the ESL Challenger League S49, from where they have a chance to qualify for the ESL Pro League.
