ENCE says goodbye to Kylar: Finnish organization continues warehouse restructuring

ENCE has announced the banning of the last Polish player in its roster - Kacper “Kylar” Walukiewicz. Thus, the organization ended the period with the Polish core in the team, which lasted from the end of 2023.

Reasons for the decision

The decision regarding Kylar was made against the backdrop of a general decline in the team's results after a strong start in 2024, when ENCE managed to reach the IEM Katowice playoffs. However, subsequent failures, such as the inability to qualify for the Major and the last place at the ESL Pro League, forced the management to reconsider the roster and make drastic changes.

Management comments

In a statement, ENCE CEO Niklas “Willkey” Ojalainen thanked Kylar for his contribution to the team: "Kylar has a lot of potential, which he demonstrated at the beginning of the year. We are confident that in the right environment he can become an extremely useful player and will find a team that fits his skills."

Changes in the ENCE team

It should be noted that back in September, another Polish player, Krzysztof “Goofy” Górski, left the team, symbolizing the gradual end of the Polish player era in ENCE. Of the former team that played at IEM Katowice 2024, only team captain Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander remained.

Current ENCE roster

At the moment, the ENCE roster looks like this:

  • Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander (captain)
  • Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev
  • Paavo “podi” Heiskanen
  • Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn (coach)

Plans for the future

ENCE are currently looking for new players to strengthen their roster for the upcoming competitions.
