Dignitas win Nordic Masters Fall 2021, qualify for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown

One more slot is taken away.

One more team qualifies for the Showdown

As one of the spots at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown was on the line at Nordic Masters Fall, nearly every of the top teams based in Northern Europe have shown up in spades.

Fnatic and ENCE Esports, fresh off their playoff berths in ESL Pro League Season 14, have failed to make it to the playoffs, as four teams in the semifinals turned out to be Dignitas, 00Nation, which has recently signed “O PLANO” squad, Copenhagen Flames, which have recently broken into the top-30 in the rankings and HAVU, seeking a yet another championship for the Finnish team. Dignitas dealt with 00Nation despite dropping Dust2, as they won on both Nuke and Inferno to reverse sweep the series, while the Danes secured two victories on Nuke and Ancient to move past HAVU to the finals. Copenhagen Flames looked to close the series in two, as they won Overpass and led “5-1” to start Nuke, but Dignitas did not drop a single round until the end of the half, as Swedish-Norwegian mix forced a Vertigo decider. CPH Flames once again looked in control, as they were up “12-9”, but seven in a row for Dignitas sealed the deal, as they won the map “16-9” and the entire series, “2-1”.

Dignitas will return to the second BLAST Premier Showdown this year, as during the Spring season they have managed to take down Team Liquid before ultimately dropping a set to Team Spirit. Time will tell if the Fall campaign is going to be even more successful!
