Tournament operator BLAST has announced the expansion of the number of permanent participants in the Premier series championships for CS2 to 16 teams. The announcement was made on the company's official website.
Slots in the league were acquired by Virtus.pro, Team Spirit, Team Falcons, and GamerLegion. Earlier, the HLTV portal shared information that participation in the league could cost teams at least $350 thousand. The new partnership agreements are concluded for one year. In 2025, the tournament operator will not be able to maintain the current Premier series format if Valve does not make changes to the previously announced regulations for all CS2 competitions.
