Train is back: Valve has released a major update for Counter-Strike 2

Valve has announced the return of one of the most beloved maps in the community - Train. The map has received a complete visual redesign and new gameplay elements that will preserve the classic atmosphere but bring freshness to the game mechanics. Now Train looks even gloomier thanks to the addition of clouds and rain effects that create the atmosphere of a real Eastern European depot.

Train is available in competitive, regular, and deathmatch modes. Valve has also added a beginner's guide with terrorist grenade lines that can be found in the training mode.

Valve has added four new community maps:

  • Basalt and Edin for competitive, regular, and deathmatch modes.
  • Palais and Whistle - for Wingman mode.

At the same time, Thera, Mills, Assembly, and Memento maps were removed.
