Astralis has chosen a coach.
The Danish club announced that it had chosen a head coach for the main team. It was casle, who had been training the team for two months on a trial basis.
Has Astralis Made a Final Decision?
And here is the third trainer - casle, who was promoted from Astralis Talent. This time, the Danes protected themselves from rapid changes and gave the coach a trial period. It seems that he passed it.
In general, the tumult with changes in the composition marked the year for Astralis. At first, the team changed the sniper, but it did not work. Then he threw out a rifler and did not find a replacement, and the final one was another sniper replacement. There are also already rumors that Astralis signed a young fifth player.
Although Astralis had problems with youth this year, the club is betting on the future and gathering a stable roster. However, the head coach has one problem.

The Main Problem of Casle
Castle's ban from Valve is still ongoing. He is in the bathhouse for the same reason as most of the trainers on the stage - the trainer's bug. He received a 10-month ban in September 2020, and in January 2021, Valve banned him from participating in the following five Majors.
And now Astralis' decision needs to be made clearer. Even if the team really liked casle, it was possible to put him in the head coach role later. Now the team will train with one coach, and at the Major, they will have an analyst behind them, with whom they don't come into contact so often. Astralis needs to consider this omission if the team wants to show good results at the Major next year.
When Will We See Astralis?
Next year, Astralis will start participating in the BLAST tournament cycle, the group stage of which should take place sometime in February. And Astralis will miss the season's first major tournament, IEM Katowice 2023.
