Regional Slot Distribution

Under Valve's updated guidelines, regional slots have been realigned to ensure all regions receive fair representation:

  • Europe: 4 slots
  • North America: 2 slots
  • South America: 2 slots

Format Adjustments

Starting with Season 8, teams will be invited based on Valve Regional Standings (VRS) combined with Open Qualifiers. This ensures a meritocratic approach while maintaining global representation.

In Season 7, teams will still have requalification opportunities from Season 6, marking a transitional phase.

What’s Next?
