Bug with Sage on Ascent in Valorant allows players to avoid flash effects

The Valorant community has discovered another bug involving Sage on the Ascent map that lets players avoid being blinded by flash abilities.

On the Ascent map, at point B, players can climb Sage's ice wall near the button for opening/closing the doors. By positioning themselves behind the hanging hook, the player's view model gets partially blocked. This causes the game to treat the player as if they are not exposed to flashes, effectively nullifying their blinding effects. However, this is not accurate in practice. You can see more details in the video below:

Despite the widespread attention this bug has received in the Valorant community, the developers have not yet commented on the issue or released a fix. For now, the bug remains exploitable, and players might encounter others taking advantage of it.

Players are reminded that exploiting bugs like this one is not recommended, as it could result in a ban on your account. Let’s hope that the number of dishonest players remains minimal until Riot Games resolves the Sage bug on Ascent.
