BIG secured a spot in the playoffs after the fourth day of competition by defeating BESTIA in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024. BIG has one more match to secure a spot in the LAN finals, with their opponent yet unknown.

Match Details

The first map, Anubis, was chosen by BESTIA. In the first half, the teams were evenly matched, finishing 6-6. However, in the second half, BIG showed complete dominance, not giving up a single round to their opponent and ending the map 13-6.

On the second map, Dust2, chosen by BIG, the first half went to BESTIA with a score of 7-5. Despite this, after switching sides, BIG turned the game around and secured victory, finishing the map 13-11. 

Other Group Results

At the end of the day, Aurora exited the tournament, finishing in last place. Additionally, M80 set an anti-record in their organization's history, winning only 6 rounds across two maps. 

Best Player of the Day

The standout player was Martín "tomaszin" Corna, who played an incredible first game and a decent second game. His average rating over four maps was 7.7, currently the best among all groups, making him the tournament's best player.
