The teams that received direct invitations to the closed European qualifiers for PGL Astana 2025 have been announced. In this stage, 24 teams will compete, but only one will secure a spot in the main part of the tournament.

A total of 24 teams will participate in the closed qualifiers, with 16 receiving invites via VRS. The remaining 8 slots will be filled by the winners of four open qualifiers. The teams invited to the closed qualifiers (VRS Europe):
