Esports club Astralis has introduced a new coach for their CS2 team. The announcement was made on the organization's official website.
The team's new coach will be Kasper ruggah Due. He has an existing contract with OG, which ends on April 1, 2024. Astralis' statement notes that ruggah will join the club after his agreement with the previous organization expires. Thus, at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, the Danish team will compete with Mathias R0nic Pinholm, who is temporarily serving as the main squad's coach.
OG, along with ruggah, failed to win any major online or LAN tournaments. Due's main achievements in OG are qualifying for three CS:GO majors.
In 2023, Astralis' coach was Peter casle Toftebo Ardenskjold. Under his leadership, the team won at CCT North Europe Series #3, CCT South Europe Series #4, and participated in many other championships. On December 20, management announced the end of cooperation with casle.
