The mistake was tied to changes introduced in patch 9.10, released last month. Jett's passive ability, "drift," which allows her to stay in the air longer by holding the space bar, is now disabled when she is suppressed by KAY/O's abilities. Before this update, the ability remained functional even while suppressed.
Despite this mishap, MIBR confidently defeated THE 7 with a score of 13-4 on Abyss, followed by a win on the second map, Sunset, closing the match 2-0.
