One of the most frustrating things about playing competitive games with teammates is that sometimes they can leave you high and dry. You think the game is going well, only for you to get the announcement that one of your teammates has simply had enough and decided to quit the game, leaving you a man down and without much hope.

To the surprise of no one, this is a common problem within League of Legends, where players are consistently giving up after the game hits a little speed bump at the early stages of the game. Which rank has the most AFK's in LoL?

This won't come as a surprise to many, but the lower ranks are the games with the most AFK with Iron having the most by a substantial margin, coming in at 6.6%. The reason we see so many AFKs in the lower levels is many players will simply give up if the game is going astray. When in reality, they should have the opposite. Because when you're in the lower ranks such as Bronze, Silver, etc, the players are more prone to mistakes. Therefore a game that should be realistically out of sight and out of mind is in fact winnable because there are so many mistakes.

It's also players that are newer to the game, and may not take ranked as seriously as say a player pushing above gold. The winning mentality is simply not there in the lower levels for the majority of players. They would rather get angry, leave the game and never come back rather than try and win the game by picking the enemy off when they are least expecting it.
