League of Legends Patch 25.11 Full Preview

Riot Games has unveiled the full preliminary list of changes for patch 25.11 for League of Legends. The update enhances Twitch's AP build, improves the Horizon Focus item, and makes neutral adjustments to the abilities of Aatrox, Kassadin, and Samira. The developers are also stepping back from previous buffs to Cho'Gath and Smolder to return them to a balanced state.

Item Changes

Horizon Focus will become a more competitive option for burst damage builds. Riot is also keeping an eye on the balance of other magical items—Stormsurge, Lich Bane, and Luden’s stand out in terms of strength but do not yet require urgent intervention. Nerfs to Archangel’s Staff, ROA, and Swiftness have had an indirect impact on champions like Ryze, Twisted Fate, and Kassadin. ROA is now considered an item for lane stability rather than damage dealing.

  • Horizon Focus: Price: 2900 → 2800; Ability power: 110 → 115

Champion Adjustments

Aatrox's "Infernal Chains" (W) has been reworked—now the ability deals physical damage, improving its interaction with fighter items. The reward for precise hits and the realization of the "sweet spot" effect is also enhanced.

  • P damage: 4-12%→4-8% max HP; Q sweet spot damage mod: 1.6× → 1.7×; W damage type: Magic → Physical

Kassadin gains some strength in the early game and loses some damage in the late game. Riot wants to make him more versatile and suitable for a meta where a weak start is quickly punished.

  •  Armor: 19 → 21; E damage: 60–180 → 70–190; R AP ratio per stack: 10% (max 90%) → 7% (max 78%)

Samira will receive changes that enhance the effectiveness of lifesteal. This should make the build through Bloodthirster (BT) more viable and enhance her potential in team fights.

  •  Q life steal effectiveness: 66% → 80%; R life steal effectiveness: 50% → 80%; W bonus AD ratio: 6 → 5

AP Twitch the buffs are targeted at jungle and farming. Riot emphasizes that he remains a weak champion but will become slightly more playable. The support variant remains outside the balance priorities.

  • Annie: Armor: 19 + 4.7 → 23 + 4.0; W damage: 70–270 + 75% AP → 80–250 + 78% AP
  • Garen: E CD: 9 → 9–6; E damage: 4-20 + 0-8.2 + 36 + 40%tAD → 4-20 + 36-44%tAD; E crit mod: 1.5× → 1.4×; W CD: 23–15 → 22–12; W DR: 30% → 25–41%; W capstone removed; R damage: 150/300/450 + 25/30/35% missing HP → 150/250/350 + 25/30/35% missing HP
