Red Bull League of Its Own 2024 delivered in every way imaginable, providing quality content for every type of fan. Where you enjoy the occasional lane swap, or battling on the bridge of progress, to even watching tier one esports teams battle it out, this event had it all and then some. There were several games throughout the day to keep fans engaged and entertained throughout the day. Including 1v1s from popular content creator teams as well as pro players.
The Stars of the Show
The main focus of the show was T1, the 2023 and 2024 World Champions. Red Bull offered the teams a different format to the one they did last year, which had the current world champions playing in their main roles and destroying the competition. This time, however, T1 and the rest of the teams agreed to role swapping each of the players to really give it the show match vibes fans were promised.
Even before the event had begun, the Paris crowd was in full force as flags for their favorite teams waved proudly across the arena.

The matches themselves provided great entertain too with European creator teams such as NNO Old and Los Ratones, who was debuting their full roster at the event which included former T1 sub Martin "Rekkles" Larsson. T1 pondered to the crowd whenever they could with plenty of Teemo picks, along with a Faker Lee Sin game to get the crowd fired up. T1 surprisingly didn't pick up a single victory until the end of the day when they defeated G2 Esports.

An unforgettable crowd
The crowd from start to finish were simply amazing, and honestly may have been louder at times then the 2024 League of Legends World Championship finals. There were hardly, if any empty seats visible from the designated press seating area, which had an incredible 360 view of the Accor arena.
Just when the day was starting to wind down as the last couple of matches approached, the fans both in the venue and watching at home were treated to an incredible moment. Rekkles was part of the T1 organization for the 2024 season where he competed on their development roster. Rekkles was then an unused sub during T1's world championship-winning run and therefore never got the proper goodbye as he joined Los Ratones not long after Worlds 2024 concluded.

The fans were treated to Rekkles subbing in for T1 in their final two games of the day, which included Faker being the support for Rekkles who was donning his signature Sivir in their match against G2, a team Rekkles was a rival of and a member of throughout his LEC career. It was a special moment for both Rekkles and T1, with Los Ratones wanting Rekkles to receive a proper goodbye from the organization that looked after him for the year.
