On July 1, 2025, Steel City Interactive released hotfix 1.4.2 for the boxing simulator Undisputed. This update fixes critical bugs that appeared after patch 1.4: custom rosters in career mode were restored, online queues and Jack Dempsey’s southpaw stance punches were fixed.

What has changed Career Mode

• Fixed a bug that prevented the use of custom rosters in career mode. This feature now works properly again.

Gameplay

• Jack Dempsey’s hooks in the left-handed (southpaw) stance now register correctly, as intended.

Online Mode

• Fixed an issue where new players waited too long in the multi-class queue.
• Fixed a bug that caused the game to freeze in the main menu after connecting to an online match.

What was in patch 1.4

Recall that update 1.4, released on June 26, added three new boxers to the game (Jack Dempsey, Jack Johnson, Damian Chambers), new robes for star fighters, multi-class queues in online mode, and a number of visual, AI, optimization, and fight balance improvements.

The developers continue working on the fight update, including tracking hits, fixing lightning-fast knockouts, and improving career mode stability. In Reddit discussions, the team confirmed that more gameplay fixes are planned soon.

Hotfix 1.4.2 is a small but noteworthy patch that repairs game stability following the big patch 1.4. If you game over a network connection or complete career mode levels while in career mode, this patch will definitely make your game smoother.
