The studio FuturLab officially announced that the PowerWash Simulator 2 will be released on October 23, 2025. The launch will be simultaneous across PC, PlayStation, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.

The trailer, styled as a satirical "corporate training" video, showcased gameplay features of the sequel. PowerWash Simulator 2 will offer players a completely new campaign, enhanced graphics, and an expanded arsenal of equipment and detergents to clean the streets of the town of Muckingham.

Key features highlighted for the sequel include:

• A new campaign featuring a detective-style plot.
• Improved graphics and new locations.
• New equipment and additional types of soap.
• Local and online co-op, as well as cross-platform multiplayer.

A special incentive is being offered to owners of the original game on Steam, who will receive a discount on PowerWash Simulator 2 for one month after the release. A demo version of the sequel is currently available on Steam.

The original PowerWash Simulator, released in 2022, became a surprise hit by offering players a meditative and relaxing process of cleaning various objects. The success of the first game ensured new content, including notable brand collaborations with franchises like Tomb Raider and Warhammer 40,000.
