Steam’s latest data shows a significant rise in concurrent users, surpassing previous highs. The increase coincides with the launch of major titles, drawing both new and returning gamers to the platform.
On October 12, 2025, Steam reached a record number of concurrent users, totaling 41,666,455. This figure exceeds the previous record by 400k, set a few months earlier. The platform's growth is linked to successful game releases, including Battlefield 6, as well as an expanding user base and new titles. According to SteamDB, the platform currently has over 132 million active users.
Previously, in March 2025, Steam set a record with 41,239,880 concurrent users. This marked the first time the platform surpassed 40 million concurrent players.
