Developers of STALKER 2 have released a second update for the game — patch 1.0.2, shortly after the first major patch. The update includes important bug fixes affecting the completion of six missions and also resolves various technical errors that could create difficulties during gameplay.
What's new in patch 1.0.2 for STALKER 2?
The patch includes significant fixes that address issues encountered during mission execution, ensuring a seamless experience for players. Here are some of the most notable changes:
- Mission "On the Edge": Fixed a bug where the second wave of Monolith soldiers would not appear, blocking further game progression.
- Mission "A Small Incident": Resolved a bug where the player could find Richter dead during the course, also hindering mission completion.
- Mission "Like in the Old Days": Fixed an issue where the player could get stuck after installing the fuse on the Wild Island, if the emitter was previously obtained in Faustus' Cell.
- Mission "What Remains": Resolved a bug that made it impossible to successfully complete the mission when exploring the Chemical Plant area.
- Mission "Military Mole": Fixed a bug where enemies appeared in areas inaccessible to the player, hindering progress.
- Mission "Images of Absolute Truth": Resolved an issue where the character Scar could disappear, also hindering progression.
Additionally, patch 1.0.2 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 also fixes several EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION errors that caused crashes during gameplay.
