The Esports Awards, in collaboration with the Esports World Cup, have launched a major public voting campaign across multiple categories. One of the highlights is the “Esports PC Player of the Decade” award, featuring legendary players who have defined entire eras in titles like CS2 (CS:GO), Dota 2, League of Legends, and VALORANT.

Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev

The symbol of NAVI’s dominance in CS:GO, Major winner at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, multiple-time MVP and HLTV Player of the Year. After a long break, he has returned to competitive play aiming to match — and surpass — his legendary achievements in CS2.

Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok

The most decorated player in League of Legends history, four-time world champion with T1 (formerly SKT), and a true legend of the Korean scene. He has remained at the top for over a decade, consistently leading his team to new heights.

Thiago "Aspas" Lima

One of the brightest stars in VALORANT history, world champion with LOUD at Champions 2022, and widely regarded as one of the best duelists on the scene. His presence alone elevates any team, as demonstrated by his impact on Leviatan and MIBR.

Johan "N0tail" Sundstein

Two-time The International champion with OG, one of the most successful and influential players in Dota 2 history. He has permanently etched his name into esports history and that of his own organization, OG.

Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut

The superstar of Team Vitality in CS:GO and CS2, multiple-time HLTV Top 1 player, known for his consistency, team play, and deadly AWPing. He is currently on track to claim another top player award thanks to Vitality’s dominant CS2 season.

Rasmus "Caps" Winther

A standout League of Legends player with G2, one of Europe’s most successful mid laners over the past decade. His creative and risky playstyle has often turned matches into unforgettable shows.

Marcelo "coldzera" David

Two-time CS:GO Major champion and HLTV Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017. Now 30 years old, he continues to compete at a high level with RED Canids.

Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naidenov

Captain of Team Spirit for the past five years, The International champion in both 2021 and 2023, and a consistent presence at top tournaments. Throughout his Dota 2 career, he has earned over $6 million in prize money.

Michał "Nisha" Jankowski

One of the most consistent Dota 2 players, with numerous titles won under Team Secret and Team Liquid. Regarded as one of Europe’s top midlaners in recent years and the reigning world champion after winning The International 2024.

Each nominee has unique achievements and has left a lasting mark in their respective disciplines. Some may have more accolades than others, but direct comparison is difficult due to different eras and games. Nevertheless, only one will be crowned Esports PC Player of the Decade, and anyone can cast their vote for their favorite.

The award ceremony will take place on August 10 in Riyadh during the Esports World Cup 2025. It promises to be a special occasion, as this is the first time the honor covers a whole decade rather than a single year.
