Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma Date Release

Marvelous USA has confirmed that Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will release globally on June 5, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC via Steam. Originally slated for May 30, the launch was delayed to align with the debut of the Nintendo Switch 2, ensuring a simultaneous release across all platforms.

A New Chapter in the Rune Factory Saga

Set in the Eastern land of Azuma, Guardians of Azuma introduces players to a Japanese-inspired world ravaged by the Celestial Collapse. Players assume the role of an Earth Dancer, wielding sacred treasures and the power of dance to purify the land and restore its former glory.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version boasts improved resolution, higher frame rates, and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls for village building. Notably, the physical game card is cross-generational; inserting it into either a Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 will automatically launch the appropriate version.
