From August 12 to 16, Riyadh will turn into the stage for a grand royal battle — this is where the Esports World Cup 2025 for PUBG: Battlegrounds will take place, in the BR Arena at Boulevard Riyadh City. Twenty-four of the world’s strongest teams, who have earned their spots either through the PUBG Power Ranking or grueling regional qualifiers, will be hitting the starting line.
Teams
- Americas: Team Liquid, Toyo Esports, ROC Esports
- EMEA: Virtus.pro, Geekay Esports, Natus Vincere
- Korea: Gen.G Esports, T1, FN Pocheon
- APAC: Buriram United Esports, Sharper Esports, TDT Esports, AG.AL
- China: Game Start Win, Petrichor Road, Change The Game
This tournament is a true global clash, where fierce mainstream powerhouses meet explosive underdogs from all over the world on the same map.

Prize Pool
The total prize pool is $2,000,000, distributed based on the results of the entire competition — from the very first matches of the group stage to the grand final. This means that even early games can bring teams substantial earnings, as every placement point and every kill has its own cash value.
An MVP (Most Valuable Player) will also be named, traditionally receiving around $10,000. While the exact prize distribution by placement has not yet been announced, it’s already known that both the group stage and the final stage contribute to the teams’ overall earnings.

The format promises maximum tension: first, teams will play a series of matches in the group stage, after which the top sixteen will advance to the final. There, over two days and twelve maps, the champion will be determined — taking home not only the largest share of the prize pool, but also crucial PGS points on the road to the PUBG Global Championship 2025.
EWC in PUBG is always an explosion of emotions, incredible clutches, and moments that become legends. This August in Riyadh, a new champion will be crowned — and for them, this Chicken Dinner will be the most valuable of their career.
