In honor of the first anniversary of Palworld in early access, Pocketpair has unveiled an ambitious roadmap, outlining significant updates and improvements for the open-world survival game. Since its launch on January 19, 2024, Palworld has garnered significant player attention: over 7 million copies of the game have been downloaded, and the peak concurrent users on Steam during the release of the Feybreak update was 212,000.
The roadmap promises substantial innovations, including joint cooperative play (crossplay) on supported platforms, the ability to transfer creatures (Pals) between servers, and a climactic battle with the final boss in the mysterious World Tree.
Additionally, the game will continue its collaboration with other projects—following a successful crossover with Terraria, new partnerships are expected. Players will also be able to enjoy the appearance of new creatures, technologies, and mechanics, as well as improvements in user interface, optimization, and creature AI.
