Marvel Rivals announced a new hero — Blade, who will join the game in the Season 3.5 update, planned for August 8, 2025. This was confirmed by the official game roadmap and news from NetEase.

Blade’s abilities include

• Primary Fire #1 — Blade Chopper: Blade uses Dracula’s sword to make a sharp slash in front of him, dealing damage to enemies.
• Primary Fire #2 — Hunting Gun: Fires an explosive fragmentation round from a hunting shotgun that spreads shrapnel in the explosion area.
• Ultimate (Q): After building up power, Blade quickly draws his sword and charges forward with a strong strike, leaving a trail of sharp sword cuts behind.
• Shift Ability (Step and Chop): A quick dash forward. If Blade holds the shotgun — he shoots and applies healing reduction to enemies; if he holds the sword — he strikes and slows the enemy.
• E Ability (Blood Liberation): Activates Dracula’s vampire blood, boosting his senses and preventing him from being healed, but he can restore health by dealing damage to enemies.
• Right Click Ability (Damage Block): Blade takes a fighting stance with his sword, reducing damage taken from the front.

Blade is a flexible and deadly character, letting players combine aggressive close combat with tactical shooting. He is expected to be a strong new addition to Marvel Rivals.

Blade will be available in the game on August 8, 2025, as part of the Season 3.5 update: "The Abyss Awakens." This update will also include a new map called "Klyntar: Celestial Husk Domination," new events, and a Battle Pass called "Power of the Phoenix."
