Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark, the latest installment in the gothic 2D action-adventure series by INTI CREATES CO., LTD., is officially set to release on March 26, 2025. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. However, the Xbox version will not launch simultaneously with the other platforms.

Players who pre-order the digital version can purchase the game at a 10% discount ($26.99 instead of $29.99). Additionally, players will receive a bonus DLC with extra equipment — Demon Maid's Trusty Tools Set.

In Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark, you will play as the demonic sisters Kiriku and Masha, who embark on a journey to resurrect their master — Demon Lord Maxim, and restore his castle.

The game offers classic Metroidvania-style gameplay with locations to explore, hidden passages, and puzzles. Players can switch between the sisters, using Kiriku's long-range demonic guns or Masha's combat whip to fight enemies and bosses.

The game will also feature a crafting system that allows you to collect and combine items, unlock new abilities, and access previously unreachable locations.

The release of Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S has been delayed indefinitely. INTI CREATES announced that after consultations with Microsoft, the Xbox versions will not be released simultaneously with other platforms due to certain circumstances. The company apologized to players awaiting the Xbox release and promised to announce a new release date soon.
