Dplus parted ways with the Rainbow Six: Siege roster

Dplus announced the breakup with their Rainbow Six Siege roster. The team included players Kim "EnvyTaylor" Sung Soo, Cho "coted" Sung Joon, Park "Woogiman" Jin Wook, Chang "dmaly" Hyun Joon, and Lee "EunSang" Eun Sang.

Dplus is one of the most renowned organizations in South Korea. The departure of the entire roster indicates significant changes in the club's strategy, which could affect the entire Rainbow Six Siege scene in the region.

Path to Change

The 2024 season was challenging for Dplus. The team started with a poor performance in the first stage, where they failed to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major in Manchester and the Esports World Cup 2024. However, they were able to redeem themselves, securing first place in the South Korea League 2024 Stage 2 and earning a spot at the BLAST R6 Major in Montreal.

Nevertheless, even these successes were not enough: in the qualifiers for the Six Invitational 2025, the team lost to FearX, ending their hopes of participating in the year's main tournament. The final blow came when CAG Osaka secured the last ticket from the APAC region, leaving Dplus out.

Parting Ways with the Roster

The decision to disband the roster was announced almost three weeks after the defeat to FearX in the Six Invitational 2025 qualifier. The only representative left in the Rainbow Six Siege discipline for Dplus is the team's coach, Six Invitational 2021 champion Dzhair "Mity" Suarez.
