On October 25, the new installment of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was released on PC and current and previous generation consoles: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. In addition, this is the first game in the CoD series to appear in Game Pass on launch day.

The game continues the storyline of Black Ops Cold War (2020), with events unfolding in 1991, following a group of CIA operatives. Their mission is to uncover a traitor within the agency and neutralize the private military group "Pantheon", which has gotten hold of dangerous biological weapons.

The main character of the game is William "Case" Calderon, a new hero in the series, and familiar characters like Russell Adler and Frank Woods are also present.

Black Ops 6 offers a campaign mode, multiplayer mode, and the popular zombie mode. The single-player campaign can be completed in 7-8 hours, featuring both linear missions and open world elements.

At launch, the multiplayer mode offers 16 maps. Treyarch has also brought back the Prestige system, allowing players to reset their progress and earn new badges and rewards after reaching the maximum level.

The classic zombie mode also makes its return with two maps, where teams of up to four players must fight against waves of zombies, upgrading their gear and completing objectives.

One of the most interesting innovations in Black Ops 6 is the introduction of new mechanics, such as unlimited movement, allowing players to move freely in any direction. The ability to shoot while jumping and dynamically change character positions during firefights adds realism and intensity to the battles.
