Black Ops 6 players are annoyed by the removal of Stakeout 24/7

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans are enveloped in a wave of disappointment over the unexpected removal of the popular "Stakeout 24/7" mode following the latest update. Players are expressing their dissatisfaction on social platforms and gaming forums, calling for the mode's immediate return.

Stakeout 24/7 is a rotation of small maps and modes offering dynamic, action-packed gameplay. Players particularly valued this mode for its focus on intense battles, the ability to quickly complete weapon challenges, and level up experience. For many players, "Stakeout 24/7" was an integral part of their daily gaming routine. Its removal has left a noticeable gap in the game.

The sudden decision to remove the mode has sparked widespread reaction among players. Fans express their outrage in discussions on Reddit and posts on Twitter.

"No idea why they removed Stakeout in the first place. Besides Nuketown, it was probably one of the game's most popular modes during the preseason.", wrote one Reddit user.

Others echoed similar sentiments, pointing to the game's tendency to remove popular modes without considering players' opinions. One popular Twitter post claimed:

"Stakeout 24/7 was the only reason I played daily. If it doesn't return soon, I'm out."

As of now, developers from Treyarch have yet to make an official statement regarding this situation. Some players speculate that the removal might have been part of a planned playlist rotation—a common practice in the series to maintain interest in the game. However, critics argue that removing a beloved mode without a proper replacement has alienated a significant portion of the audience.

This is not the first time Treyarch has faced criticism for their decisions regarding the removal of certain game features. Previously, the removal of the Nuketown 24/7 mode and XP tokens also caused outrage within the Black Ops 6 community on social media. However, they were later reinstated due to community pressure on the developers. Therefore, it's expected that the same might happen with Stakeout 24/7.
