New features
- Custom Search allows players to choose a combination of mode and map (e.g., Conquest on Siege of Cairo).
- All-Out Warfare now includes Breakthrough, Conquest, and Rush.
- Empire State map from Brooklyn — a compact infantry-focused map where the classic Rush mode returns.
- Initiation Mode for newcomers up to rank 15 — play with bots in Breakthrough, Conquest, or Rush. After reaching rank 15, the mode disappears, but players can switch to the standard playlist.

Technical issues and fixes
- DLSS/DLAA are temporarily unavailable after the start of Weekend 2. Developers promise to restore these features on August 14. Users are advised to update the client or use the “Repair” function in EA App. An alternative method involves editing the PROFSAVE_profile file, but it carries risks.
- Matchmaking: some players report long wait times, game cancellations, and errors. Developers are working on fixes.
- Intel Arc GPUs (especially A-series): issues with Borderless mode; switching to Full-screen or Windowed is recommended. Intel is working on a driver solution.
- Other known issues: sound bugs, anti-cheat problems, FPS and display refresh rate display errors.
The project lead emphasized that matchmaking prioritizes low ping and fast match starts over skill level to keep teams balanced.
Open Beta Weekend 2 offers players new playlists, maps, and modes, a Custom Search option, and a beginner-friendly mode, while also bringing temporary technical issues with DLSS/DLAA and matchmaking.
