In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you get to explore various areas on the map and meet new friends. But some parts of the island - notably the Big Adventures Park - are locked behind a gate, which you will see right behind Chococat. According to Chococat, more of our "missing friends" are located behind the gate.

After interacting with Chococat, he will task you with the "Power Up The Gate" quest. To power up the gate, you need to collect Yellow Power Crystals. Hello Kitty Island Adventure players will then need to craft a Power Crystal Censor, a tool that lets you detect nearby Yellow Power Crystals. 

The "Power Up The Gate" quest requires a bit of work - so if you need help with locating the Yellow Power Crystals and completing the mission, read ahead!

How To Craft The Power Crystal Censor

Finding the Yellow Power Crystal locations may be difficult and time-consuming, so a Power Crystal Censor is essential to help. To craft the Power Crystal Censor, you need x3 Sticks and x3 Magnets. 

Sticks can be found scattered around the area. Just explore around and collect x3 Sticks to acquire the first half of the Power Crystal Censor materials. To get Magnets, increase your Friendship with Badtz-maru, Tuxedosam, and Pochacco to Level 2. You'll obtain one Magnet from each of them. 

After you've collected enough materials, interact with the crafting table next to the gate and click "Craft". Then use the Power Crystal Censor and walk around the area, if it pulses faster it means a Yellow Power Crystal is near you.

All Yellow Power Crystal Locations - Hello Kitty Island Adventure

First Yellow Power Crystal Location

The first Yellow Power Crystal location can be found nearby, which you can find by just moving to the left of Chococat, just next to the beach shoreline. You will see a huge door, surrounded by rocks and trees. To open the door, find nearby boxes, lift them, and put two of them on top of the pressure platforms next to the door.

Once the huge door is lowered, head inside and you will need to solve the Beginner's Bridge puzzle. The puzzle requires you to move a box on top of another platform (which will spawn a bridge) and cross to the other side. Climb the wall on your left and collect the first Yellow Power Crystal.

Second Yellow Power Crystal Location

The second Yellow Power Crystal location is on the south-west of the map, on top of a hill further away from the first gate. Try your best to spot a pathway that leads to a huge, modern door. Once again, step on the platforms to open the door.

Once inside, you'll need to solve another puzzle - the Crystal Conundrum. Use the two golden boxes to put on pressure platforms which will open the door upstairs. Then collect the second Yellow Power Crystal and head outside!

Third Yellow Power Crystal Location

The last Yellow Power Crystal location is up north, but you need to first fix the bridge to cross to the other side. Chococat will tell you to ask My Melody for help. Go to My Melody and she will ask for x2 Strawberry Crates. You can find Strawberry Crates across the map so spend some time exploring and collecting them.

After you pass the x2 Strawberry Crates to My Melody she will follow you to the bridge and fix it. You will be able to cross the bridge and arrive on a new island. Collect the Yellow Power Crystal near the bridge and head back to the gate.

Interact with the gate and voila! You have unlocked a new area, Big Adventures Park, to explore in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Have fun exploring!
