The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom offers an expansive world filled with diverse activities, ensuring countless hours of gameplay. Among the intriguing locations in the game are shrines, which house valuable items and more. In this article, we will explore the map of shrines and locations for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Shrines are areas in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that are filled with various obstacles, puzzles, and enemies. Overcoming these challenges will earn you various rewards, thus making the game easier and helping you achieve 100% completion. If you've played Breath of the Wild, then you’re already familiar with them.
There are a total of 152 shrines in Tears of the Kingdom, located both on the surface (in Hyrule) and the sky. To uncover all the shrines, you will need to meticulously explore all areas of the game world, as well as complete certain quests and possess the necessary abilities to progress further. There are no shrines in the Depths, but lightroots there correspond to the positions of shrines on the surface.
Completing the dungeons grants various rewards, chests, items, and resources. However, if you complete all 152 dungeons, you will receive a side quest—The Shrine Explorer.
Head to the Temple of Time located on Great Sky Island and return to the room with the Goddess Statue. Behind it, you will see a chest containing the Ancient Hero's Aspect armor.
